Reading & Dyslexia
My reading assessments provide you with a clear picture of your child’s literacy skills. Using the highly regarded Feifer Assessment of Reading, I can evaluate abilities in 15 key areas to identify strengths, weaknesses, and signs of dyslexia. I then create a targeted plan for effective remediation using proven, research-based solutions for struggling readers.
Math Assessments
My math assessments identify gaps in foundational skills and concepts. I look deeper than just right or wrong answers: I analyze how your child is reasoning with numbers and how language, memory, attention, or inefficient strategies may be impacting your child’s learning and practice of math. Using these insights, I provide you with a clear plan to strengthen their understanding, performance, and confidence in math.
Cognitive Screenings
Understanding How Your Child Thinks & Learns
I assess your child’s learning abilities using MindPrint Learning*, a highly-regarded, reliable, and standardized battery of cognitive assessments. They measure your child’s reasoning abilities, memory, working memory, attention, and their efficiency at taking-in and reacting to information. I share the results with parents and students from my perspective of how they are smart, and what areas need to develop or be managed differently for more success.
